Car and Van Loans at DC Cook Direct

This is the most popular way to buy a car or van and works in a similar way to a personal loan:

1. Choose how much deposit you would like to pay
2. Choose a loan term between 12 and 72 months
3. Your repayments are fixed and equal for the entire loan term
4. Change your car whenever you want

The loan provider will pay the agreed loan amount directly to DC Cook Direct. You then pay the agreed number of instalments to the loan provider, which are fixed and equal for the full length of the loan.

You can change your car at any point by contacting your loan provider, who will issue you with the outstanding balance. The loan provider will also give a rebate on the outstanding interest on the loan.

PCP - Personal Contract Purchase at DC Cook Direct

This type of purchase is designed to give customers greater flexibility by providing more options at the end of the contract.

Simply choose your car and the deposit you want to pay, how many years you want the contract to run (up to four) and your expected annual mileage. From this information we can calculate your monthly repayment and the future value of the car which is then guaranteed. This is known as the guaranteed future value (GFV).

At the end of the contract your options are:

* Hand it back - simply hand the keys over and walk away with no future responsibilities
* Take ownership - pay the GFV to the loan provider and you will then take ownership of the car
* Choose a new car - part exchange your car to DC Cook Direct and choose a new one.
